Grammy event as history.
In honor of the musicians and the music that have defined an era, YouTube Music and Lyor Cohen masterminded a blowout NYC event headlined by hip-hop legends Nas and Grandmaster Flash. Timed to coincide with the annual Grammys show, the event demanded an equally spectacular invitation to send to music industry royalty. The Apt conceptualized and implemented an idea in which New York graffiti artist Cycle created a one-of-a-kind mural, across the surface of 100 white boxes housing Google Home Max speakers. Photographed and filmed together, they formed a solid wall, just like the ones Cycle used back in the day to express himself. The wall, however, was then taken apart as each box was sent to industry leaders and top talent as the invitation to the hip hop event. Impossible to ignore and a piece of art to be saved, the graffiti boxes made thousands of appearances across social media as recipients showed them off to followers.
